The Swiss Society of Nashville is a private membership organization.Established in 1857 and incorporated in the State of Tennessee, the Society's purpose is to "promote good fellowship among Swiss nationals and those of Swiss descendents living in Tennessee and to provide mutual aid in times of need."
Activities and events undertaken to support this purpose include monthly meetings, special get-togethers including an annual Swiss National Day celebration, donations to charitable organizations selected by the Society and spiritual support to our members.
Who can join the Nashville Swiss Society?
Per our Constitution, we are “composed of members who are Swiss or whose mother, father, grand-mother, grandfather or the spouse of a member is a Swiss descendent.”
Annual dues are currently $25. Attend a meeting as a visitor at no cost and be eligible for membership candidacy and joining at any of the following meetings.
Besides our longtime members, we have a growing number of young, Swiss-born professionals whose employment brought them to Nashville and surrounding regions.
